Phoenix Children's Athletes offers a physical education (PE) program covering 11 different sports and activities. We serve Phoenix and the greater metro area, including Ahwatukee, Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa, Paradise Valley, Scottsdale and Tempe. We travel to preschools and daycares, teaching essential motor skills to children 3-5 years old once a week. We also do mommy-and-me classes for kids under two. Each session is typically 30 min long but can be customized to meet the needs of the school day. We will engage our students in popular sports, stretching, exercise, games, and nutritional education in a typical class. The focus is on development of gross motor capacity and mobility performance. We offer services for early education sites weekly or as a less frequent extracurricular activity after the school day.

I am the owner of Phoenix Children’s Athletes, and we have been in operation since 2020. I am retired from the US Army, where I worked as a Warrant Officer in the IT field. I have held onto my beliefs that physical activity is vital to everyone, both young and old. As a coach, I honor the fundamentals of each sport. However, I feel the real focus is on the whole child. I am not concentrating only on the rules of a sport but work on sportsmanship (relationship skills), self-awareness, responsible decision-making, and self-management. Our unique program is developed to be fun and in line with our company vision, to create a generation that looks forward to physical education. I'm a proud father of three girls where we live in Tempe with our two rescue dogs.
